Please join Pennsylvanians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty for Execute Art Not People on Friday June 1 at The Ethical Society of Philadelphia (1906 Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia) at 6:00pm-9:00pm. The event is free. Execute Art Not People brings awareness to the tremendous expense of the death penalty via artists in all genres and explores ideas about what could be done once that expense is cut from state budgets.

8:00pm: A panel discussion with the Director of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program Jane Golden, Director of InLiqiud Art and Design Rachel Zimmerman, and Concrete Steel and Paint directors Tony Heriza and Cindy Burstein, moderated by Hugh Taft-Morales, leader of the Ethical Society of Philadelphia, on investing in restorative justice, arts and education over prohibitive prison programs.
