Tamara Anderson (ACG ’11) presents The Voices Project, a short play/skit that serves as a platform for dropout prevention and shines a light on the dire need for sustainable programs for individuals who self select to leave or are pushed out of school. Narratives were collected through a series of interviews and writing workshops with students that are high school dropouts and adjudicated youth from E3 Centers and St. Gabe. The script will be performed as a staged reading for middle school, high school, and adult audiences to give an honest portrayal of this population, and to allow their stories to be heard. View the production on June 6 at 7:00pm at ST. MICHAEL’S LUTHERAN CHURCH (6671 Germantown Ave). Admission is free. For questions or more information, contact Tamara via moact1973@gmail.com.
