Looking for a space?

Whether you’re an artist looking for a new studio, a performer in need of a venue for the Philly Fringe, or a community member planning to host a meeting or a birthday party, Asian Arts Initiative’s facility has space for you!

THEATER: Our theater space offers an 18′ x 46′ sprung marley-coated floor, a large projection screen backdrop with projector, theatrical grid with lighting instruments, and an audio system. With a legal capacity of 115, this space is perfect for your next performance, rehearsal, expo, creative meeting, or concert.

GALLERY: Our Gallery space provides an open, industrial-like event room with 20′ ceilings, polished concrete floors, and internationally-recognized curated exhibits of visual art.

STUDIOS: Our upstairs studios offer wooden floors, windows with natural light in each studio (except our center studio). The studios range from 200 square feet up to 1000 square feet.

For more information about the different spaces available or if you have questions about both short-term or long-term space rentals, contact Sarah, Chandler, Facilities Manager at (215) 557-0455 ext. 232 or email sarah@asianartsinitiative.org.

We extend a warm invitation to YOU to join us in activating 1219 Vine Street as a vibrant cultural anchor in Chinatown North. We invite artists, curators, community members and creative thinkers from near and far to submit exhibition proposals through our Community Curators Program and to submit innovative, community-focused projects that seek to enliven the neighborhood through our Social Practice Lab! Learn about both these programs by visiting the Call for Artists page on our website.
