Shayna SheNess Israel (ACG ’08) of Elements Organization invites you to spend this Friday, August 12th at The William Way Center for a day of vending, a resource fair, a film screening, a discussion, and so much more! The Resource Fair will begin at 10:00am – 12:00pm, the Brown Bag Lunch Film Screening and discussion will begin at 1:00pm – 4:00pm, and a Vendor Market will feature all day. Also, starting at 5:00pm, a Happy Hour Show filled with poetry, comedy will occur featuring some of Philly’s most talented women. The film on view is The Kuchus of Uganda, documentary about SMUG (Sexual Minorities Uganda), a group of radical LGBT activists who risk their lives in order to push for queer rights.
