Art For Human Trafficking and Open Artist Calls

The Women’s Caucus For Art present their next art making meeting will be on Wednesday, August 10 at 7:00pm at Moore in Sarah Peter Cafeteria. This meeting will feature dolls for their Fringe flash mob where the team will silently pass out information and stickers on human trafficking.  The flash mob will meet on Friday, September 2 at 5:30pm at 2nd and Market where they held their Show Me To My Seat “Sit Out” last year.  They will create a pile of dolls to symbolize the numbers impacted by human trafficking.  Please bring sewing machines, needles, yarn, fabric, buttons, and what you need to create your doll.  If you cannot attend and wish to contribute, please email joannfulginiti@aol.com.  If you would like to work on the sticker design or have any sticker contacts, please let Joanna know.  This is open to all who wish to participate–not just members.  Please RSVP to attend the meeting to phila_wca@yahoo.com.

If you are interested in participating in our human trafficking exhibition, please contact Exhibition Chair, Joanna Fulginiti, joannfulginiti@aol.com, who is also coordinating the member education component, an important piece of this exhibition. If you are interested in membership, email phila_wca@yahoo.com
