Filmmakers Chris Vargas and Eric Stanley will screen their new film Criminal Queers on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Fisher Bennett Hall 401 (3340 Walnut St.) on the University of Pennsylvania campus. After the screening, they will facilitate a discussion about the impact of state violence on queer and gender-nonconforming communities, the intersectionality of queer and trans experience, and a desire for collective liberation from institutionalized oppression and prison walls.
