For the last decade, Antibalas has spread the Afrobeat bible to audiences worldwide, from New York’s Rikers Island prison to Carnegie Hall, from Tokyo to Turkey, from Bonnaroo to Brooklyn’s best underground clubs. Last year, Antibalas worked as arrangers, orchestrators, composers, and performers for the Off Broadway smash Fela! The band’s famous, relentless live show, with more than a dozen performers, keeps audiences coming back for more. After the show, the party heads upstairs to Cadence Lounge for a free DJ lounge featuring two hours of sizzling beats from DJ Rahsaan.
