The Warhol Foundation’s Arts Writers Grant Program is now accepting applications for the 2010 cycle. The deadline is Monday, June 7, 2010.
Grants range from $3,000 to $50,000 depending on the needs and scope of the project. Te program is designed to encourage and reward writing about contemporary art that is rigorous, passionate, eloquent and precise, as well as to create a broader audience for arts writing, the Arts Writers Grant Program aims to strengthen the field as a whole and to ensure that critical writing remains a valued mode of engaging the visual arts.
Writers who meet the program’s eligibility requirements are invited to apply in the following categories: Articles, Blogs, Books, New and Alternative Media, and Short-Form Writing. For guidelines and additional eligibility requirements, please visit artswriters.org.
