Stockton Rush Bartol presents the last Spring Teaching Artist Workshop: How do you give your students positive critique that inspires them to try again? Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process is a four-step method for getting useful feedback on anything you make, from dance to dessert, through facilitated dialogue between the creator and a group of responders.
Elizabeth Johnson, Associate Artistic Director of Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, returns to lead this workshop which will share warm-up exercises, discussion of key concepts for critique, and a chance to experience the process in action using examples in both theatre and dance. Teaching artists in all disciplines will be find this technique useful, the workshop will be held on April 18 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at the Performance Garage on 1515 Brandywine St, Philadelphia.
