Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation presents “True Partners: Building Strong Relationships between Teaching Artists and Classroom Teachers”. Successful programs by teaching artists in schools depend on strong relationships with classroom teachers. This interactive workshop will focus on strategies to define roles, share skills and construct effective curriculum that builds on the strengths of both partners. The session with be led by a team of collaborators: Marsha Pincus, veteran classroom teacher and Amy Hodgdon, Education Director of Philadelphia Young Playwrights. It is appropriate to those working in all disciplines with particular focus on school-based programs.
