Keiko Miyamori featured in CFEVA Exhibit

Using metaphor, the candor of line and the human touch, Cecelia Rembert’s paintings explore the tension between the real and the unreal in our personal and collective mythology. Interested in creating an imaginary space where unity among nature and humanity can exist, Keiko Miyamori’s (LTA ’08) birdcage installation addresses the dichotomy of captivity and freedom. Paul Rider’s photographic still lifes offer a poetic meditation on the philosophy of chance, a respectful exploration of our cultural debris, and an elegant visual play on landscapes of reality and hope.
