Saturday March 28th at 2:00 pm “Soothing and Nurturing the Human Spirits on Both Sides of the Walls” was filmed at the American Friends Service Committee’s STOP MAX conference in May 2008.
In a workshop led by Judith Trustone, Director of Sagewriters, The Global Kindness Revolution and “Creating a Healing Lifestyle in Re-entry,” participants, most of them families of the incarcerated or those home from prison, learn self-healing techniques they can use on loved ones in prison visiting rooms. Trustone is an award-winning author, activist and innovative program consultant, and she hosts the internet radio show, “Healing Justice.” She also narrated and directed the documentary, “Healing Justice: a journey into Shadow America” that was shown on March 7th. Both DVDs are available from http://www.Sagewriters.org.
Trustone led Healing Circles and Soothing and Nurturing workshops around the country for twenty years, and is creating a guided CD for Creating a TrustOneKindess Circle.
