Through Women's Eyes: taking submissions from filmmakers

**Through Women’s Eyes** (Sarasota, FL) – This international festival
featuring women directors and focused on international women’s issues,
stories, and lives is a fundraiser sponsored by the Gulf Coast Chapter
of UNIFEM USA (UNIFEM is the United Nations Development Fund for
Women). All personnel are volunteers and all proceeds go to UNIFEM to
assist women in developing countries. Categories: Documentary,
Feature, Short. Festival invites filmmakers to be present to answer
questions after the films (typical audience: 200-300 people). Films
may originate anywhere in the world; may have been completed in any
year; and may have distribution. No premiere requirements. Festival
dates for 2009 and submission deadlines to be announced. Filmmakers
